For decades the Northern Interlake region of Manitoba has been
a major flyway for waterfowl as overall migration numbers continue
to grow.
This flyway contains countless species of waterfowl, and
we specialize in quality shooting over decoys. Snow, Blue Ross Geese and all the
various species of Canadian Geese are found here along with most varieties of ducks with more than a dozen
species shot in an average season. Daily limits consist of 20 Snow Geese, 8 Ducks and 5 Canadian Geese.
Being the first agricultural area that these waterfowl
arrive at from the North finds the birds very easy to decoy. Our large spreads of shell and big foot Canadian decoys enable us to
pull birds into decoying shots day after day.
With leases on area fields and our own fields, we have
produced some of the greatest shoots year after year. We are able to control
some of the birds by rotating fields daily. This 'resting' practice allows for better quality decoying and gives the field a chance to rebuild it's
numbers. We also have a wonderful duck pond on our property
allowing for afternoon and evening limits of ducks.
