For decades the Northern Interlake region of Manitoba has been
a major goose flyway as overall migration numbers continue
to grow.
This flyway contains countless numbers of geese, We specialize in quality shooting over decoys. Snow, Blue Ross Geese and all the
various species of Canadian Geese are all found here along with most varieties of ducks with more than a dozen
species shot in any given season. Daily bag limits consist of 20 Snow Geese, 8 Ducks and 5 Canadian Geese.
Since ours is the first agricultural area that these geese
find, the birds very easy to decoy. Our large spreads of shell and big foot Canadian
goose decoys enable us to pull birds well within range day after day.
Along with leases on area fields we have our own fields as
well, and we produced some of the best shoots year after year. We're able to control
some of the birds by a daily rotation schedule on the fields. This 'resting'
schedule allows for much better quality decoying and gives the field a chance to rebuild it's
numbers. We also have a wonderful duck pond located right on our property
allowing afternoon and evening bag limits of ducks.
