For decades the Northern Interlake of Manitoba has been
one of the major flyways for waterfowl and overall migration numbers continue
to grow.
Our flyway contains numerouss species of waterfowl
including the Snow Geese, Blue Ross Geese and all the
various species of Canadian Geese. We're home to most varieties of duck with more than a dozen
species shot in an average season on our hunts. Our daily limits consist of 5
Canadian Geese, 20 Snow Geese, and 8 Ducks.
Since ours is the first agricultural area that these waterfowl
see on their migration, the birds respond well to our decoy spreads. Proper
equipment and large spreads of shell and big foot Canadian decoys enable us to
attract birds into our spreads day after day.
With leases on numerous area fields along with our own fields, we produce some
remarkable shoots year in and year out. We control the pressure by rotating
fields daily which allows for better quality decoying and gives each field a chance to rebuild its
numbers. We also have a very productive duck pond on our land
allowing for afternoon and evening limits of ducks.
