With more than two million exclusive acres to hunt in, we
are able to maintain an excellent success rate on trophy black bears. Our quota
system, area size and our baiting program guarantee trophy bears at close range.
Archery setups are typically nine to sixteen yards with typical rifle setups
fifteen to forty five yards. At these close distances size and hide condition are easily determined. With
each of our hunt groups being four or five hunters, personal
attention and effort to detail are the 'rule'.
Our hunting area produces blond, brown and cinnamon phase bear.
In 2007 we had 100% opportunity at harvesting a legal bear. Our past seasons have been exceptional with five Boone & Crockett (B&C) and dozens of P&Y. We have consistently harvested record book bears and pride ourselves in that statistic. Our references will
certainly attest to these results.
With some bait sights located in remote areas, accessed by
a two to three hour ride into the timber using an 8 wheel drive swamp machine or
a 6x6 ATV, our efforts usually result in lifetime memories. Multiple active
baits per hunter allow movement during the week increasing your opportunity of harvesting
a trophy bear. We are confident this successes will continue given our focused efforts and aggressive baiting program.
We provide opportunities for youth, physically challenged,
and the more seasoned hunter to obtain a memorable trophy bear. We are also
available for video work, security, or size estimation as part of our
services. This has proved to be a popular option.
